The lawyer of our office, Nippashi Toshinori, gave a lecture about Japanese immigration law for International Shiho-shoshi Association on Apr 27, 2019. It is NPO organized by Judicial Scriveners (Shiho-shoshi) handling international cases.
Most of the Judicial Scriveners engage in domestic cases, typically for purchase and sale of real property, or inheritance.
These days there are increasing number of foreigners in Japan. So we have more international cases to take care of. Then they need to know basic knowledge about immigration law.
